Clean off any dirt residue from the chain and lubricate using a standard chain lube every 300 miles. Make sure the teeth are in good condition. Replace worn teeth immediately If the whole tooth is visible when you lift the chain, replace with a complete new chain sprocket kit. Do not allow the chain to hang down excessively. Get the correct tightness set by your mechanic. Make sure the assembly is correctly aligned when it is replaced. Failure to do this can cause serious damage. Your mechanic will answer any questions you may have.
